Academic Choir NGLU won the Christmas Festival in Warsaw
The Academic Choir of Nizhny Novgorod Linguistic University. ON. Dobrolyubova led by Maxim Ivanov became the winner and the owner of the silver diploma of the II International Christmas Festival in Warsaw, which was held from 9 to 11 December. The competition was attended auditions amateur, student, professional and children's choirs from Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Belarus, Ukraine, Poland and Russia. Chairman of the jury was the famous Polish composer Romuald Twardowski, who wrote many popular choral works in Europe and is an iconic figure in contemporary choral art.
According to the artistic director of the choir Maxim Ivanov, "communion with the highest choral traditions of the Eastern European countries it is one of the best incentives for the further growth of any team. We got acquainted with the work of many high choirs of both professional and amateur. And very pleased that the level of Russian choral singing is still one of the highest places.
